One of the most important but overlooked components in your PC is the PC case. Let’s take a look at the different factors to consider when selecting a good PC case.
External space is main factor to consider. If you have the space, tower PC cases are a good choice. Another factor to consider is how many components you wish to fit in your PC case. Again, a good choice would be a tower PC case.
Before you buy PC cases make sure it can support ATX motherboard. Some cheaper ‘ATX’ cases don’t really fit ATX motherboards. I remember buying a wonderful ATX motherboard and it couldn’t fit into my PC case!

If you’re a overclocker or have many system components, you’ll need to ensure you’ve got enough fans in that case to cool the system. Good PC cases allow multiple (4 or more) cooling fans to be installed, ensuring good ventilation.
Just a few years back, PC cases were boring white boxes. These days, you can find a plethora of colorful PC cases – if you’re concerned about your PC’s ‘look’. In summary, always remember to consider the above factors when selecting PC cases.

The problem with a lot of computer cases is they look, well, a little boring. My choices are Thermaltake Computer Cases, Antec Computer Cases, Li Lian Aluminum Computer Cases and last but far from least Alienware computer cases.

Thermaltake Computer Cases are a great example; many of their cases such as Armor, Kandalf, Tai-Chi and Shark are easily upgraded to house internal or external liquid cooling systems as well as lighting and fan modifications. Note: Most Thermaltake Computer Cases are quite large so make sure you have the space as well as medical coverage when it comes time to move it.

There sturdy aluminum construction opens a whole world of modifications just waiting to be tried.
Last but not least…Alienware…recently acquired by DELL, this in NO way has diminished the quality of this incredible computer tower. The design of these towers is outstanding and the shape and design graphics on the cases simply insane!
